The date for the referendum on the Voice will be announced this week. Attached is a discussion paper provided by the Church and Nation Committee of the Presbyterian Church of Australia.
The paper was prepared by the Church and Nation committee of the Presbyterian Church of Victoria, and circulated now for the federal committee. We are very thankful for the time and effort which the PCV Committee invested to develop this paper.
Neither committee is endorsing a position on the referendum, and the paper considers the “Yes” case and the “No” case. We hope it will help Christians in Presbyterian Churches to approach to referendum thoughtfully and prayerfully.
